Here we are 12 years ago, our engagement picture! Our wedding was one of the best days of my life (only to be equaled with the birth of our 4 beautiful children). It was a perfect day, everything was just as I had always dreamed it would be. From the weather, to the flowers, to the cake, to the many friends and family who helped make it so perfect. Doug was so willing to give me the wedding of my dreams. He really liked the Manti temple and had always pictured a winter wedding but I had never dreamed of any temple other that the Salt Lake temple and of course a summer wedding! He was willing to sacrifice everything for me and he has been doing it everyday for the last 12 years! I am so blessed to have him as my husband. Every year we grow closer and closer. We laugh that we feel the same as we did 12 years ago, that we have not changed at all, not a day older, then we look around and the familiar saying of "Who are these kids and why are they all calling us Mom & Dad?" We realize we have really come a long way and what a fabulous journey it has been. I can't wait to see what is coming next!!
I am looking forward to another great year, with the most amazing husband and the worlds greatest kids!! Where ever we go, whatever we do, as long as we're together I know it is going to be wonderful, exciting and full of happiness!!

Happy Anniversary! Wow, I can'tbelieve 12 years? That doesn't seem possible. I am totally releived that it was your anniversary and not your birthday. I know your birthday is in September and I knew there was something in the teens of September, so I was afraid I had missed it, but now I remember that your anniversary is first and then your birthday at the end of the month, so hopefully I won't miss it! Anyway, I hope that you guys did something really fun! Miss you!
